Blog #3

Writing the summary was probably one of the most challenging papers I have had to right yet. Not because it was a hard assignment, but maybe because I was trying to over think about how I was going to put all the information together in my own words, but still try to use quotes from the story. The one thing that I like about this kind of writing is that you have an article to base your essay on instead of writing about something that has a topic that you need to think about in order to write. What I don’t like about this kind of writing is that you need to have quotes. I don’t really care for having to use quotes because it seems like they can be a lot of work when trying to blend them into a paragraph and still make since.
I did like summarizing the article that I picked, because I think that it’s interesting to hear or read about different opinions about a person’s capability to multitask. Something that I would have done differently when writing the summary is not using the word “you” throughout the essay. What I Would keep the same are the examples that I used, because they are situations that people do every day. The only outside resource that I used to find some more information was Owl. The source help me to when I had to write my works cited page.
